Job Summary
Diagnose, repair, and maintain motorcycles and e-scooters. Ensure vehicles are safe, reliable, and meet manufacturer and regulatory standards. Deliver quality workmanship with strong customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnostics & Troubleshooting: Inspect engines, brakes, suspension, electrical systems, and transmission to identify faults. Use diagnostic tools and manual testing methods.
- Repairs & Maintenance: Perform scheduled services like oil changes, filter replacement, chain adjustment, and tune-ups. Repair or replace worn/ defective parts including engine components, clutches, carburetors, fuel injection systems, and tires.
- Electrical Work: Diagnose and fix wiring, battery, ignition, lighting, and ECU issues.
- Road Testing: Test drive vehicles after service/repair to verify performance, safety, and noise/ vibration levels.
- Customer Interaction: Explain required repairs, provide cost/time estimates, and advise on preventive maintenance to customers.
- Workshop Duties: Keep tools, equipment, and workspace clean and organized. Follow safety protocols for handling fuel, oils, and hazardous materials.
- Inventory: Inform supervisor of spare parts requirements. Ensure correct parts are ordered and used.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Education: 10th pass minimum. ITI certificate in Diesel/Motor Mechanic or Automobile Engineering preferred.
- Experience: 1-3+ years hands-on experience. Fresher with ITI can apply for junior roles.
- License: Valid two-wheeler driving license required for road testing.
Physical Requirements
Ability to lift 25+ kg, bend, kneel and stand for extended periods. Work in noisy, greasy workshop conditions.
Pay: ₹750.00 - ₹1,000.00 per day
