Core Responsibilities
- Preventive Maintenance: Conduct scheduled inspections on building systems (HVAC, plumbing, electrical) and machinery to prevent unexpected breakdowns.
- Troubleshooting & Repairs: Diagnose mechanical, structural, or electrical issues and perform necessary repairs or replacements.
- Emergency Response: Address urgent service requests or equipment failures quickly to ensure safety and restore operations.
- Documentation & Logging: Maintain accurate records of completed repairs, parts used, and routine maintenance checks, often using a CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System).
- Inventory Management: Track and order spare parts, tools, and maintenance supplies as needed.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere strictly to occupational health and safety standards, including lockout/tagout (LOTO) procedures and wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
Specialized Technical Duties
- Facilities/Building Maintenance: Repair drywall, flooring, and paint. Handle minor carpentry, door hinges, locks, and window issues.
- Mechanical & Industrial: Dismantle machinery, replace defective components, calibrate instruments, and lubricate moving parts.
- Electrical & Plumbing: Fix or replace light fixtures, switches, and damaged wiring. Clear clogged drains, repair leaks, and service fixtures like toilets and faucets.
- HVAC Systems: Change air filters, clean coils, and ensure thermostats and ventilation units function efficiently
Pay: ₹8,468.10 - ₹29,907.57 per month
