Job Description
We are looking for a responsible, disciplined, and caring Ladies Hostel Warden to oversee the daily operations of the women's hostel. The ideal candidate will ensure the safety, security, discipline, and well-being of hostel residents while maintaining a comfortable and supportive living environment.
Responsibilities
- Supervise the day-to-day operations of the ladies' hostel.
- Ensure the safety, security, and welfare of all hostel residents.
- Maintain discipline and enforce hostel rules and regulations.
- Monitor student attendance, entry/exit records, and visitor management.
- Coordinate with parents, faculty, and management regarding student welfare when required.
- Handle student concerns, emergencies, and grievances promptly.
- Oversee housekeeping, cleanliness, and maintenance of hostel facilities.
- Prepare and maintain hostel records and reports.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in any discipline (Master's Degree preferred).
- Experience in hostel administration, student affairs, or residential management is an added advantage.
Experience
- Minimum 1–2 years of experience as a Hostel Warden or in a similar residential management role.
- Experience in educational institutions is preferred.
Skills Required
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong leadership and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to maintain discipline while providing student support.
- Good organizational and administrative skills.
- Basic computer knowledge (MS Office).
