Position: Site Engineer (Layouts)
Work Location: Noombal (Thiruverkadu, Chennai, Tamil Nadu)
Job Description:
We are looking for a Site Engineer with layout experience to manage and execute residential layout works at site. The candidate should handle day-to-day site activities and ensure work is completed as per drawings and approvals.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Manage layout development works such as roads, drainage, water lines, sewer lines, and electrical ducts.
- Read and follow approved layout drawings and site levels.
- Coordinate with surveyors for marking, alignment, and levelling.
- Supervise contractors and site workers.
- Ensure work quality, safety, and timely completion.
- Prepare daily work reports and material requirements.
- Check measurements and assist in billing work.
- Coordinate with consultants and local authority inspections.
- Solve day-to-day site issues.
Requirements:
- Diploma / Degree in Civil Engineering.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in residential layout or infrastructure projects.
- Basic knowledge of roads, drainage, and utility works.
- Able to read drawings and manage site work.
- Basic knowledge of AutoCAD and MS Office preferred.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
Preferred:
Experience in plotted development or township projects.
