Job Title: Business Development Manager

Role Overview:
This is a market-facing, full-time business development role focused on architect acquisition, engagement, and conversion. The objective is to aggressively grow Dimore Surfaces' brand visibility, specification share, and commercial wins through high-touch relationships with architects and on-site project activation.
Core Responsibilities:
1. Market Penetration & Lead Generation
· Conduct daily market visits to identify, engage, and activate new architecture and interior design firms.
· Build and nurture a pipeline of ongoing and upcoming residential, commercial, and hospitality projects.
· Generate qualified leads through direct architect outreach, referrals, site visits, and networking events.
2. Architect Engagement Strategy
· Drive end-to-end relationship development: from first interaction to becoming a preferred surfaces partner.
· Understand architects’ project pipelines, client personas, and material preferences to position relevant Dimore collections.
· Ensure regular, value-added engagement with architect studios through product updates, mock-ups, and presentations.
3. Business Development Through Specification
· Convert architectural presentations into hard specifications and ensure they translate into purchase orders via dealers or direct channels.
· Actively follow up with clients and channel partners to track specification-to-order movement and remove friction in decision cycles.
· Maintain records of all live leads, project specs, and architect feedback in CRM systems.
4. Presentation & Product Demonstration
· Deliver business-driven presentations, positioning Dimore’s surface solutions as high-ROI, design-enhancing, and technically superior.
· Use the Mercantile Toolkit to drive decisions on the spot.
· Present product value from a business lens faster approvals, easy customization, better aesthetics, and brand differentiation.
5. Ecosystem Building & Brand Visibility
· Be the face of Dimore at the architect and design community events, material exhibitions, and trade shows.
· Collaborate with marketing to run curated product previews, co-branded events, or CPD sessions.
· Support local dealer sales by driving inbound traffic and influencing architect-specifier networks.
Expected Daily/Weekly Activities:
· Minimum 3-4 on-site meetings per day with architects, interior designers, or studio teams.
· Weekly site visits to monitor specification implementation.
· Timely reporting and updates to HQ on project funnel, presentation outcomes, and next steps.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
· Proactive, field-oriented professional with strong business acumen and networking skills.
· Excellent at building long-term relationships and converting design interest into commercial action.
· Must be fluent in design terminology but focused on business outcomes—sales, specifications, and closures.
Required Skills:
· Strong interpersonal and consultative selling skills
· Excellent presentation and storytelling ability
· Market research and project tracking capabilities
· Digital literacy (CRM, Dimore App, WhatsApp CRM, Google Workspace)
· Experience in premium tiles, laminates, stone, glass, furniture, or architectural products is preferred
Performance Metrics (KPIs):
· Number of architect firms acquired per month
· Value of projects specified via architect influence
· Monthly pipeline movement from specification to order
· Market coverage and visit frequency
· Engagement events or co-activations conducted
Pay: ₹600,000.00 - ₹800,000.00 per year
