About the Role
We are looking for a dynamic Purchase Executive / Purchase Manager with experience in the wire harness, wire & cable, or electrical manufacturing industry. The candidate will be responsible for handling procurement operations, vendor development, cost negotiations, and ensuring timely availability of materials for production.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle end-to-end procurement of wire harness components, connectors, cables, and electrical raw materials.
- Develop and maintain a strong vendor base for cost-effective and quality sourcing.
- Negotiate pricing, contracts, and delivery schedules with suppliers.
- Ensure timely procurement to support uninterrupted production activities.
- Coordinate with production, design, and quality teams for material planning.
- Monitor inventory levels and maintain optimum stock availability.
- Prepare and manage purchase orders, procurement documentation, and records.
- Track market trends and implement cost-saving initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with procurement policies and quality standards.
- For Manager role: Lead procurement planning, vendor strategy, and team coordination.
Key Requirements
- 4+ years of experience in procurement/purchase within the electrical manufacturing industry.
- Hands-on experience in procurement of wire harness, connectors, cables, and electrical components.
- B.Tech in Electrical / Electronics or relevant field.
- Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.
- Proficiency in ERP systems and MS Excel.
- Ability to manage multiple vendors and priorities effectively.
- Good analytical, coordination, and communication skills.
Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
