Associate Trade Accountant is responsible for profits and losses of quantifiable trading portfolios, comprising one or multiple types of commodities, and their supporting activities. The job entails planning trading activities in line with portfolio objectives, developing relationships with existing and new trade partners, and identifying opportunities to enhance portfolio positions locally and regionally. The individual should be good with numbers, with a strong business acumen and a deep understanding of market conditions. Roles and Responsibilities: · Oversee the ongoing maintenance of accounts. · Reconcile accounts including receivable and payable. · Prepare accounts on a daily basis and review with Trade Manager and filing appropriate statements with banks. · Finalize financial statements on a yearly basis and supporting during bank audits. · Follow up with Tax department in Singapore, India and Morocco · Maintain and update Ledgers using Tally and send out necessary reports to leadership. · Prepare CMA data with estimates and quarterly projections. · Ensure cashflow is utilized properly and protect reserves. · Create financial forecasts and analyze risk. · Audit financial information for inconsistencies · Working closely with auditors and banking executives to ensure appropriate and effective bookkeeping in place. · Provide tax planning strategies in accordance with existing legislation. · Ensure payroll is accurate and records are maintained. · Reconcile accounts including receivable and payable. · Support management in the accurate production of budgets · Assess supply and demand factors that affect trades and valuations. · Develop commodities trading strategies to guide positions during various market trends or economic conditions. · Develop corporate governance measures. · Analyze trade partner service delivery and performance levels in line with key performance indicators and provide performance feedback. · Manage profit or loss responsibilities of portfolios consisting of one or multiple commodities. · Approve trades beyond the rates or limits stipulated for Trade team and execute trades in accordance to portfolio objectives. · Develop targeted trade partnering strategies and implementation plan. · Develop trading plans to address portfolio gaps identified in commodity classes. · Enhance networks with existing and possible trade partners. · Escalate trades with potential risks to trade compliance and develop rectification measures. · Facilitate appropriate actions to manage trade contracts, disputes, or performance issues of key trade partners. · Facilitate collaboration with derivatives trading team to manage risks arising from trades performed via structured trades. · Facilitate collaboration with market analysis team by guiding targeted research areas and offering inputs on markets. · Facilitate collaboration with operations team to manage physical settlement of commodity. · Facilitate negotiation of buying and/or selling for bigger trades. · Facilitate organization’s application of controls to safeguard commodity portfolio positions. · Plan continuous work improvement activities and performance improvement strategies. · Propose department's financial budget for management approval. · Provide assistance in ongoing records and information review to determine effectiveness of work processes and procedures. · Review periodic portfolio status reports. · Review valuation methods and assumptions used in valuation.
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹28,000.00 per month
