Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled Assembly Fitter to assemble, install, and test Special Purpose Machines (SPM) and automation equipment. The candidate should be able to read engineering drawings, use hand tools and measuring instruments, and ensure high-quality machine assembly.
Key Responsibilities
- Assemble SPMs, automation machines, and mechanical sub-assemblies.
- Read and interpret mechanical drawings and assembly layouts.
- Fit and align machine components according to specifications.
- Install linear guides, ball screws, bearings, pneumatic components, and other mechanical parts.
- Perform machine testing, alignment, and trial runs.
- Identify and rectify assembly issues during machine build.
- Coordinate with design, electrical, and production teams.
- Maintain quality standards and follow safety procedures.
- Ensure timely completion of assigned assembly work.
- Support machine installation and commissioning at customer sites, if required.

Qualification
