About the Role
We are looking for an experienced and result-oriented Senior Counsellor to guide prospective students and parents in choosing the right IAS/UPSC preparation programs. The candidate will be responsible for counselling leads, converting enquiries into admissions, maintaining strong student relationships, and achieving admission targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Counsel students and parents regarding UPSC/IAS courses, batches, programs, fees, and career opportunities.
- Understand student requirements and recommend suitable courses based on their academic background and career goals.
- Handle inbound and outbound calls, walk-ins, enquiries, and follow-ups.
- Convert qualified leads into admissions and consistently achieve monthly admission targets.
- Maintain regular follow-ups with prospective students through calls, WhatsApp, email, and other channels.
- Explain course structure, faculty, study material, test series, mentoring, schedules, and other academy offerings.
- Address student/parent concerns and resolve queries professionally.
- Maintain accurate lead, counselling, follow-up, and admission records in CRM/Google Sheets.
- Coordinate with the Marketing, Telecalling, Academic, and Admissions teams to improve conversions.
- Track leads through the complete counselling and admission cycle.
- Provide feedback on lead quality, student requirements, objections, and market trends.
- Support junior counsellors through guidance, counselling techniques, and conversion strategies.
- Prepare daily/weekly admission and conversion reports for management.
- Ensure a professional and positive student experience throughout the admission process.
Required Skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong convincing, negotiation, and objection-handling abilities.
- Good knowledge of UPSC Civil Services Examination / IAS preparation.
- Strong sales and admission-conversion orientation.
- Ability to build trust with students and parents.
- Target-driven, proactive, and highly organized.
- Good follow-up and relationship-management skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office, Google Sheets, CRM, WhatsApp, and basic reporting.
- Ability to work independently as well as lead and support a counselling team.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's/Master's degree in any relevant discipline.
- Prior experience in IAS/UPSC coaching institutes, competitive exam academies, EdTech, education counselling, or admissions will be preferred.
- Candidates with proven admission/sales performance will be given preference.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
