Job Description
As a Freight Broker, you will be responsible for managing freight transactions, building strong relationships with carriers and shippers, and ensuring smooth transportation of goods across global markets. This role requires excellent communication skills, negotiation abilities, and a passion for working in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Source and secure carriers for freight shipments.
- Negotiate competitive rates with carriers and shippers.
- Manage the full cycle of freight transactions from booking to delivery.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and partners.
- Ensure timely updates and problem resolution during transit.
- Achieve performance targets and contribute to team growth.
Requirements
- Prior experience as a Freight Broker or in logistics/supply chain.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team.
- Comfortable with night shifts.
- Knowledge of freight operations and global logistics preferred.
