1. Job Overview
A Civil Engineer is responsible for planning, designing, supervising, and maintaining construction and infrastructure projects such as buildings, roads, bridges, dams, and water systems. They ensure projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget while meeting quality standards.
2. Key Responsibilities
- Plan and design construction and infrastructure projects.
- Prepare drawings, layouts, and structural designs using engineering software.
- Conduct site inspections and surveys before and during construction.
- Supervise construction activities and coordinate with contractors and workers.
- Ensure projects comply with government regulations, safety rules, and building codes.
- Estimate project costs, materials, and timelines.
- Monitor project progress and solve technical problems on-site.
- Prepare technical reports, project documentation, and progress reports.
3. Required Skills
- Knowledge of structural design and construction methods.
- Ability to read and create engineering drawings and blueprints.
- Familiarity with software like AutoCAD, STAAD.Pro, and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Good communication and teamwork abilities.
- Basic knowledge of construction materials and safety practices.
Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
