Purpose
This role will be responsible for the sourcing, procurement, and management of HVAC systems, cleanroom equipments, and related materials essential for the infrastructure, site maintenance, and operations of pharmaceutical facilities. This role ensures that all procurement activities align with project specifications, industry standards, and regulatory compliance, ensuring quality, cost-effectiveness, and timely delivery.
Role and Responsibilities
1 Procurement & Sourcing
- Source and procure HVAC systems, cleanroom materials, and equipment in line with project specifications and company requirements.
- Ensure the timely and cost-effective procurement of materials to meet project deadlines.
2 Vendor Management
- Establish and maintain relationships with suppliers and vendors, negotiating pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules.
- Conduct supplier evaluations and ensure vendor performance meets required quality and compliance standards.
3 Compliance & Quality Assurance
- Ensure all procured materials comply with relevant industry standards and regulatory requirements specific to the pharmaceutical sector.
- Monitor and enforce compliance with safety and quality standards during the procurement process.
4 Collaboration & Coordination
- Collaborate with engineering, design, and project management teams to understand material and equipment specifications for HVAC and cleanroom requirements.
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure that procurement timelines align with project schedules
5 Inventory & Stock Management
- Oversee inventory levels, ensuring that materials are available as needed while minimizing overstocking.
- Coordinate with suppliers to maintain optimal stock levels and ensure the uninterrupted flow of materials to the project sites.
6 Documentation & Reporting
- Prepare and manage procurement documentation, including purchase orders, contracts, and supplier agreements.
- Maintain accurate records of all procurement activities and provide regular reports on procurement status, expenditures, and vendor performance.
7 Cost Control
- Monitor and manage the procurement budget, ensuring cost-effective purchases without compromising on quality or regulatory requirements.
- Identify opportunities for cost savings and propose alternative solutions when applicable.
Qualifications and Experience
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
Experience:
Minimum 3–5 years of experience in procurement or purchase functions, preferably in HVAC, cleanroom, pharmaceutical, or EPC/project-based industries.
Hands-on experience in vendor management, sourcing, and procurement of technical equipment and materials.
Experience in handling purchase documentation, negotiations, and cost control.
Skills:
- Strong knowledge of procurement processes and supply chain management
- Good understanding of HVAC systems, cleanroom materials, and technical specifications
- Vendor negotiation and relationship management skills
- Cost analysis and budgeting skills
- Proficiency in MS Excel and ERP systems (SAP/Tally or similar)
- Strong coordination and communication skills
- Attention to detail and documentation accuracy
- Ability to work under pressure and meet project deadlines
Pay: Up to ₹460,800.00 per year
