Social Media Executive:
Roles and Tasks:
- Client Understanding:
- Understanding clients’ current and previous presence.
- Completing on-boarding process.
- Monthly follow-up as per Cogito Guide.
- Develop and Implement Social Media Strategy:
- Develop social media strategies that align with the brand’s voice, values, and marketing goals.
- Create data-driven strategies that enhance brand visibility and customer engagement across platforms .
- Understanding the three golden Whys’( 1.Why did we get the client? 2. What does the client cater? 3. What is the client looking for? )
- Create and Manage Social Media Calendars:
- Plan and manage a detailed social media content calendar that aligns with key marketing objectives.
- Schedule and ensure timely publication of content on multiple platforms (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, YT).
- Engage with Followers and Build Community:
- Actively respond to comments, direct messages, and interactions on all social platforms.
- Develop strategies to foster a loyal community, increasing follower engagement and brand advocacy.( For details, follow Cogito Guide )
- Community Management:
- Act as a community manager by engaging with followers, addressing concerns, and fostering a supportive and interactive community environment.
- Build and maintain relationships with influencers, followers, and brand advocates to create a positive brand presence.
- Collaborate with Content Creation Teams:
- Work closely with designers, copywriters, and video producers to ensure that all content aligns with the brand’s voice and goals.
- Provide creative direction and feedback to ensure all content is visually appealing and strategically sound.
- Daily Communication with Clients:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, discussing social media strategies, progress, and necessary adjustments.
- Address client feedback and ensure alignment between their expectations and content delivery.
- WhatsApp Turnaround Time ( TAT ) - 10-15mins
- Platform Expertise and Algorithm Monitoring:
- Stay informed of changes in platform algorithms and adapt content strategies to ensure maximum visibility and engagement.
- Use platform-specific features (like Stories, Reels, or LinkedIn Articles) to optimize content for each platform.
- Competitor Analysis and Trend Monitoring:
- Regularly monitor competitor activities and industry trends to identify opportunities for differentiation and innovation.
- Propose new strategies based on trends and competitor insights to keep the brand relevant and forward-thinking..
- Work closely with ads teams to drive campaigns that lead to increased traffic, sales, and customer loyalty.
- Analyze and Report Social Media Campaigns:
- Monitor the performance of social media campaigns using KPIs such as engagement, reach, impressions, and conversions.
- Adjust tactics and strategies based on insights and analytics to improve campaign performance.
- Submit monthly client reports by 29th of every month.
Competence Needed:
- Content Strategy:
- Understanding the three Golden Whys’ and developing a suitable Content strategy.
- Researching the niche and building suitable strategies.
- Actively analysing ongoing strategy and modifying accordingly.
- Platform Expertise:
- In-depth knowledge of major social media platforms (Facebook,Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter, Meta,YT, Ads library/ads manager,GMB ) and their unique algorithms and engagement tactics.
- Knowledge of Google workplace.(Sheet,docs,slides etc)
- Proficiency in giving and taking various required accesses.
- Analytics Tools:
- Proficiency in using social media analytics tools like Google Analytics, Facebook Insights, and Instagram Analytics to track performance and make data-driven decisions.
- Creativity:
- Ability to generate creative content ideas and adapt to new trends.
- Story making ( ability to develop visually pleasing and engaging stories using tools )
- Ability to think outside the box and promptly develop content ideas.
- Communication:
- Transparent and appropriate communication intra-team,
- TAT for clients( Solving all client queries on a positive note )
- Active replies to DMs and comments on all platforms.
- Community Management:
- Expertise in building and nurturing an online community.
- Continuously encouraging positive interactions and resolving issues diplomatically.
- Active engagements with followers and potential followers.
- Trend Awareness:
- Knowledge of the latest social media trends, viral content,hooks, audios and emerging digital marketing techniques.
- Implementing trends into calendars actively
- Helping the team in shoots to help them record viral videos whenever required.
- Adaptability:
- Ability to quickly pivot strategies based on real-time feedback, platform changes, or unexpected challenges.
- Researching and using AIs to efficiently complete tasks.
- Ability to adapt to circumstances that arise during shoots, client meetings etc.
- Attention to Detail:
- Ensuring all social media content is accurate, visually appealing, and aligns with both brand guidelines and client expectations.
- Following the tonality set for client
- Ensuring all videos/creatives are proofread before sharing to the client’s groups
- A results-driven approach with a focus on achieving measurable outcomes such as increased engagement, traffic, and conversions.
