Role Overview
Ayika Sciences is seeking a results-driven and strategic E-commerce Manager to lead and execute our digital sales strategy across all online channels in India (including our own website and key marketplaces like Amazon, Flipkart, Blinkit, Meesho, etc.). The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving revenue growth, optimizing the customer journey, and enhancing brand visibility in the competitive baby care market.
Key Responsibilities
A. E-commerce Strategy & Growth
P&L Management: Own the e-commerce sales targets and P&L, managing budgets for digital advertising and promotions to maximize ROI and achieve monthly/quarterly revenue goals.
Marketplace Optimization (MPO): Develop and execute strategies for top marketplaces (Amazon, Flipkart, etc.), including product listing optimization (A+ content), brand store management, and securing favorable placements.
Website Management: Oversee the performance, design, and conversion rate optimization (CRO) of the direct-to-consumer (D2C) website to ensure a seamless and high-converting customer experience.
B. Digital Marketing & Traffic Generation
Performance Marketing: Collaborate with agency partners or internal teams on paid media campaigns (PPC, Facebook/Instagram Ads, Google Shopping) focused on customer acquisition and retention.
SEO/SEM: Drive organic traffic growth through continuous search engine optimization of product pages and brand content.
Promotions & Campaigns: Plan, execute, and analyze promotional events, product launches, and seasonal sales campaigns across all platforms.
C. Operations & Analytics
Inventory & Logistics: Coordinate closely with the Operations team to ensure accurate forecasting, inventory levels, and efficient logistics for timely order fulfillment.
Data Analysis: Utilize web analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Amazon Seller Central reports) to monitor KPIs, identify trends, and provide actionable insights for sales improvement.
Customer Experience: Monitor customer feedback, ratings, and reviews across all platforms and implement strategies to maintain a high customer satisfaction score (CSAT).
Required Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
Experience: 4+ years of dedicated experience managing E-commerce operations and sales, preferably within the FMCG, D2C, or Baby Care industry in India.
Technical Skills: Deep working knowledge of major Indian marketplaces (Amazon Seller Central, Flipkart Seller Hub), performance marketing metrics (CPC, CPA, ROAS), and Google Analytics.
