Accounts Receivables – Team Lead
Finance Shared Service Center
Role Profile
Coordinates day to day activities of the Account Receivables team within shared services. Reporting to the Global Accounts Receivable Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for managing the billing and cash collection processes
Key Accountabilities of the role:
Responsibilities includes but not limited to the following:
- Team coordination
- Ensuring a rapid and smooth cash collection process
- Organizing and overseeing non-global/local invoicing calculations within FSSC’s scope
- Monitoring customer account postings and investigating/taking action on open items in customer ledgers
- Reviewing the monthly balance sheet reconciliations performed by the team
- Controlling manual postings in AR ledgers and ensuring all manual entries comply with policies
- Coordinating customer disputes and assigning them within the collection team
- Creating and reviewing weekly/monthly reports before distribution to management
- Ensuring the team covers monthly/bi-weekly BSR and aging meetings
- Driving and supporting process improvements
- Motivating the team reporting to you, and working with the Global Accounts Receivable Manager to ensure sufficient capacity within the department (including new hires and weekly capacity planning)
- Ensuring a backup plan is in place for holiday and sick leave coverage
- Coordinating the creation of standard manuals and procedures to support team backup
- Developing and monitoring KPIs to track the team’s performance
Experience and Specific Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, or Finance
Minimum 3-5 years of team lead experience in Accounts Receivable
Proven experience in leading a team is essential
Experience in accounting within an international company is an advantage
Expert in Microsoft Excel
Experience with SAP
Strong team player
Excellent communication skills

Excellent organizational and prioritization skills
