We are urgently seeking an experienced, dynamic, and passionate Corporate Trainer in Data Science & Analytics to conduct an intensive 1-month internship/training program for engineering students at BGSIT. The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between academic learning and industry requirements, delivering hands-on sessions, real-world case studies, and guiding students through a capstone project. - Deliver a structured, hands-on curriculum covering Data Science, Data Analytics, and Machine Learning basics over a 4-week period.
- Conduct daily interactive training sessions, coding labs, and troubleshooting workshops.
- Mentor students through practical, industry-relevant projects and a final capstone project.
- Assess student progress through weekly mini-assignments and practical evaluations.
- Provide career guidance, industry insights, and interview preparation tips for data roles. [1, 2]
Required Skills & Syllabus Coverage:
- Core Languages: Python (preferred) or R, including libraries like Pandas, NumPy, and Matplotlib/Seaborn.
- Data Analytics & Visualization: SQL basics, Excel, and Power BI or Tableau.
- Machine Learning Fundamentals: Supervised and unsupervised learning algorithms (Regression, Classification, Clustering).
- Statistical Analysis: Descriptive and inferential statistics, probability distributions, and hypothesis testing.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Experience: Minimum 2–3 years of experience as a Data Scientist, Data Analyst, or Professional Corporate Trainer.
- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, IT, or a related field.
- Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in Python, SQL, and Power BI/Tableau.
- Communication: Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to students clearly.
- Prior experience training college students or conducting bootcamps is a major plus. [1]
