Accountant / Bookkeeper – Job Description
Position: Accountant / Bookkeeper
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 2–3 years of accounting and bookkeeping experience.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel.
- Good analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate financial records and bookkeeping entries.
- Record daily transactions, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Prepare bank reconciliations and monthly financial reports.
- Process invoices, payments, and expense reimbursements.
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities.
- Maintain general ledger accounts and ensure data accuracy.
- Support audits by preparing required documentation.
- Monitor cash flow and assist with budgeting activities.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
- Maintain organized financial files and records.
Experience Required:
- 2–3 years of hands-on accounting and bookkeeping experience.
- Experience with financial reporting, reconciliations, and ledger maintenance.
- Familiarity with accounting software such as Tally, QuickBooks, SAP, or similar systems.
Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
