ABOUT THE ROLE
We are looking for an experienced Salesforce Lead Developer with strong hands-on expertise in DocuSign eSignature integration. The ideal candidate will design, develop, and maintain enterprise-grade DocuSign solutions, working closely with business stakeholders to translate complex requirements into scalable, secure, and production-ready implementations. This is a long-term contract engagement with a minimum duration of one year, offering significant opportunity for extension based on performance and project needs.

General Shift (IST) — occasional overlap with US hours
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Design and implement end-to-end DocuSign eSignature solutions aligned to business requirements and enterprise architecture standards.
- Develop, test, and maintain integrations using DocuSign REST APIs, covering envelope creation, status tracking, and callback handling.
- Configure and manage DocuSign components including envelopes, templates, tabs, recipients, and automated workflows.
- Integrate DocuSign with enterprise platforms such as Salesforce (Sales Cloud, Service Cloud), .NET, Java, and web-based applications.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, product owners, and architects to translate functional requirements into technical specifications.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve issues related to DocuSign workflows, API failures, and integration bottlenecks in production environments.
- Ensure all implementations adhere to data security, compliance, and data protection standards (GDPR, SOC 2).
- Provide timely support for production incidents, enhancements, and post-deployment activities.
- Prepare technical documentation including design documents, API guides, integration diagrams, and runbooks.
- Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, and Agile ceremonies as a technical lead contributor.
REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
- DocuSign Expertise: Hands-on experience with DocuSign eSignature, including envelope configuration, template management, and workflow automation.
- REST API Development: Proficient in DocuSign REST APIs — authentication (OAuth 2.0 / JWT), envelope creation, tab configuration, and event callbacks.
- Salesforce Development: Strong background in Salesforce development — Apex, LWC, Flows, and Salesforce-DocuSign native connector configuration.
- Enterprise Integrations: Experience integrating DocuSign with .NET, Java, or web platforms using REST/SOAP patterns.
- Security & Compliance: Understanding of e-signature legal compliance, digital certificate management, and data protection best practices.
- Problem Solving: Strong debugging skills with the ability to identify root causes in complex, multi-system integration scenarios.
- Communication: Ability to communicate technical solutions clearly to non-technical business stakeholders.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- AgentForce Certification or demonstrated hands-on experience with Salesforce AgentForce — candidates with this credential will be highly preferred.
- Salesforce certifications: Platform Developer I/II, Salesforce Administrator, or Application Architect.
- DocuSign Partner or Developer Certification.
- Experience with Salesforce CPQ, Revenue Cloud, or Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) workflows involving DocuSign.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, version control (Git), and DevOps practices in Salesforce environments.
- Prior experience in BFSI, Legal, Healthcare, or any compliance-heavy industry domain.
- Exposure to Salesforce Data Cloud or MuleSoft integration layer.
EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION
5 to 10 Years in Salesforce / Enterprise Development
Minimum 3 Years hands-on DocuSign integration experience
B.E. / B.Tech / MCA / M.Tech in Computer Science or related field
Salesforce or DocuSign certifications preferred; AgentForce highly valued
