Have to ensure the uninterrupted operation of electrical systems, minimizing disruptions to guest comfort and hotel operations. Responsibilities include installing, repairing, and troubleshooting power distribution systems, lighting, and backup generators, alongside executing preventive maintenance and responding to urgent guest room requests.
- Guest & Staff Support: Respond promptly to on-shift maintenance requests from guest rooms, restaurants, and other hotel departments to resolve issues with little supervision.
- System Maintenance: Routinely inspect and maintain electrical infrastructure including wiring, panels, control boards, and lighting fixtures.
- Emergency Response: Act quickly when breakdowns occur to diagnose faults, minimize hazards, and assess the impact on operations.
- Backup Power: Ensure the reliable function of emergency power supplies, including Diesel Generators (DG sets) and Uninterruptible Power Supplies (UPS). [1, 2]
- Compliance & Safety: Enforce local electrical codes and hotel Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to guarantee high-level safety standards.
