Job Summary
We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Quality Assurance Engineer with 4+ years of experience in software testing. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of web and mobile applications through manual and automated testing. The candidate should possess strong analytical skills and the ability to identify, document, and track software defects.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scenarios.
- Perform functional, regression, integration, system, and user acceptance testing.
- Identify, document, and track software defects using bug-tracking tools.
- Collaborate with developers, product managers, and business analysts to understand requirements.
- Verify bug fixes and ensure product quality before release.
- Participate in Agile/Scrum meetings and testing activities.
- Create and maintain test documentation and reports.
- Conduct API testing and database validation where required.
- Support automation testing initiatives and framework maintenance.
- Ensure software applications meet quality standards and client requirements.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of Manual Testing methodologies.
- Experience with Automation Testing tools such as Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright.
- Understanding of API Testing using Postman or similar tools.
- Experience with defect tracking tools like Jira, Bugzilla, or Azure DevOps.
- Knowledge of SQL and database testing.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development processes.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- 4+ years of experience in Software Quality Assurance.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience testing SaaS, ERP, CRM, or enterprise applications.
- Exposure to performance and security testing.
- ISTQB certification is a plus.
