About the Role
We are an authorized passenger vehicle dealership operating in the Mumbai Metropolitan Region. We are looking for a customer-oriented and technically aware Service Advisor to join our service team at our Andheri facility.
The Service Advisor is the primary point of contact between the customer and the service workshop. This is a role that demands equal parts people skills and technical understanding — you will be the person customers trust to take care of their vehicle, and the bridge that ensures the workshop delivers on that promise. If you enjoy solving problems, managing customer relationships, and working in a dynamic automotive environment, this role will suit you well.
What You Will Do
- Receive customers at the service drive, listen carefully to their vehicle complaints, and conduct a thorough walk-around inspection at the time of vehicle check-in
- Accurately capture customer concerns and translate them into clear job instructions for the workshop team
- Provide customers with transparent cost estimates, repair timelines, and regular status updates throughout the service process
- Upsell value-added services, periodic maintenance packages, genuine parts, and service contracts where relevant and appropriate
- Coordinate with workshop technicians, spare parts team, and service manager to ensure jobs are completed on time and to quality standards
- Manage the vehicle delivery process — explain work carried out, obtain customer sign-off, and ensure a smooth and positive handover experience
- Handle customer queries, concerns, and escalations with professionalism and empathy
- Follow up with customers post-service to ensure satisfaction and drive repeat visits and loyalty
- Maintain accurate records of job cards, estimates, invoices, and customer interactions in the DMS
- Achieve monthly targets for service revenue, customer satisfaction scores (CSI), and upsell conversions
What We Are Looking For
- Minimum qualification: ITI, Diploma in Automobile Engineering, or Graduate in any stream
- 2 to 5 years of experience as a Service Advisor in a passenger vehicle dealership or authorized service centre
- Sound understanding of vehicle service processes, periodic maintenance schedules, and common repair procedures
- Strong customer handling skills — ability to manage expectations, resolve concerns, and maintain composure under pressure
- Good communication skills in Hindi, Marathi, and basic English — both verbal and written
- Target-driven with the ability to identify and convert upsell opportunities without being pushy
- Proficient in DMS software, job card management, and MS Office
- Well-groomed, punctual, and professional in appearance and conduct
- Valid two-wheeler driving license preferred
