We are looking for a hands-on and dynamic HR Generalist to oversee the human resources functions for our clothing store. In this role, you will act as a strategic partner to the Store Manager, handling everything from recruiting fashion-forward sales associates and managing floor scheduling to fostering a positive workplace culture and ensuring legal compliance.
Key Responsibilities
1. Recruitment & Onboarding
Partner with store leadership to identify staffing needs and create targeted job descriptions.
- Manage end-to-end recruitment for retail staff, including stylists, cashiers, stock associates, and floor supervisors.
- Facilitate a welcoming onboarding and induction process, including company culture training and standard store operating procedures
2. Employee Relations & Engagement
- Act as the first point of contact for employee inquiries regarding policies, benefits, and workplace issues.
- Mediate and resolve employee relations issues promptly and professionally to maintain a harmonious floor environment.
3. Performance Management & Training4. Operations, Payroll & Compliance
- Coordinate performance evaluation cycles and assist managers in setting clear sales targets and KPIs.
- Identify training needs and coordinate development programs focused on customer service, product knowledge, and upselling.
- Assist in managing employee schedules, attendance tracking, and processing monthly payroll.
- Ensure strict compliance with local labor laws, wage regulations, and workplace safety standards.
- Maintain accurate, confidential, and up-to-date employee records in the HR database
- Organize employee engagement initiatives, incentives, and recognition programs (e.g., "Top Seller of the Month") to boost store morale.
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹27,000.00 per month
