Overview
Gallagher Center of Excellence is seeking to hire a Senior Graphic Designer for the GCoE Business Enablement vertical. As a designer you will play a critical role in creating high-quality, visually compelling communication materials that support Gallagher’s small and mid-market clients.
This role requires advanced expertise in Microsot 365 Suite and Adobe Creative Cloud tools—especially InDesign—to flow content into templated materials aligned with Gallagher’s standards of excellence. The designer must excel in working within structured templates, utilizing grid systems, layers, paragraph and character styles, and tables, and color harmonies. While adhering to the template environment, some customization of content may be required. The designer must ensure design integrity by skilfully flowing custom content into templates to deliver polished, consumer-grade results.
The role requires a keen eye for detail, strong organizational skills, the ability to manage a team to ensure appropriate capacity is available to deliver on multiple projects, and adherence to a defined process. The Senior Graphic Designer is responsible for delivering professional materials that support U.S. employee benefit understanding.
This position is integral to maintaining template integrity, streamlining the communication process, and delivering creative output that meets the evolving needs of Gallagher’s diverse client base. The designer must have a clear understanding of what "good looks like" and consistently produce exceptional work.

As a Sr. Graphic Designer, you play a vital role in delivering high-quality, visually compelling materials that meet Gallagher’s standards of excellence.
You are responsible for ensuring all deliverables align with custom designed materials, maintain design integrity, and meet client expectations.
Your ability to work collaboratively, manage deadlines, and produce exceptional results is critical to the success of the team.

Oversee the design and production work of the team to ensure the layout composition, organization, and structured template environments.
Mentor junior designers to elevate the overall quality of output, ensuring adherence to best practices in layout, typography, color theory, other design principles, and conducting quality reviews of team outputs.
Manage multiple design projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks effectively to meet tight deadlines without compromising quality, and adhering to established service level agreements (SLAs).
Cultivate strong relationships with key internal stakeholders, ensuring their design needs are met with creativity, professionalism, responsiveness, and proactively soliciting feedback to gauge satisfaction and identify areas for improvement.
Adhere to established design processes, ensuring efficient project workflows, timely communication with project stakeholders, and maintaining organized project documentation, including design files, version control, and design briefs.
Continuously evaluate and improve design processes, suggesting enhancements to increase efficiency, quality, and overall team performance, and developing contingency plans to address potential challenges in design execution.
Contribute to the creative direction of design projects, bringing innovative ideas and solutions to the table, identifying opportunities for design innovation and experimentation, and incorporating new design trends, technologies, or techniques to improve the visual impact of deliverables.
Take ownership of your own professional growth, actively seeking out opportunities for skill development through workshops, courses, and industry events, and leading or facilitating internal knowledge-sharing sessions to enhance the team's design capabilities and understanding of industry best practices.

About you

5+ years working majorly on PPT projects.

Minimum Required Degree: Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, Marketing, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

Preferred Degree: Master’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, Marketing, or a related field.

Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).

Proficiency in presentation software such as PowerPoint or Keynote.

Proficiency in MS Office Programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Familiarity with social media, Digital Branding, and Employer Branding concepts is beneficial.

Up-to-date knowledge of the latest design trends and best practices.

Minimum of 5+ years of professional design experience, focusing on business presentations, marketing collateral, and branding.

Strong portfolio showcasing relevant design work.
