Senior Academic Counsellor
Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Academic Counsellor to guide prospective students in selecting suitable academic programs and career pathways. The ideal candidate will be responsible for student counselling, admissions support, lead conversion, and maintaining strong relationships with students and parents. The role requires excellent communication skills, a student-centric approach, and the ability to achieve admission targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Counsel prospective students and parents regarding academic programs, career opportunities, and admission processes.
- Understand student requirements and recommend appropriate courses or educational pathways.
- Manage and follow up with leads through calls, emails, WhatsApp, and in-person meetings.
- Convert enquiries into successful admissions by providing accurate information and continuous support.
- Maintain detailed records of student interactions and admissions data in CRM systems.
- Coordinate with academic and administrative teams to ensure smooth onboarding of students.
- Conduct counselling sessions, seminars, webinars, and educational events.
- Handle escalations and provide guidance to junior counsellors when required.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and student preferences.
- Achieve monthly and quarterly admission targets.
- Ensure high levels of student satisfaction and relationship management.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in any discipline; Master’s degree preferred.
- 3–7 years of experience in academic counselling, admissions, or education sales.
- Strong understanding of educational programs and career counselling processes.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and persuasion abilities.
- Proficiency in MS Office and CRM tools.
- Ability to work in a target-driven environment.

Salary
Competitive salary with performance-based incentives.
Pay: ₹12,500.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
