Job Summary:
The Medical Receptionist is the first point of contact for patients and visitors. This role involves managing front desk operations, handling patient appointments, maintaining records, and ensuring smooth communication between patients, doctors, and staff.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and assist patients and visitors in a polite and professional manner
- Schedule, confirm, and manage patient appointments
- Maintain patient records and update information accurately
- Handle phone calls, inquiries, and direct them appropriately
- Manage billing, receipts, and basic cash handling (if required)
- Coordinate with doctors, nurses, and pharmacy staff
- Ensure cleanliness and organization of the reception area
- Assist with insurance forms and basic documentation
- Maintain confidentiality of patient information
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Minimum qualification: 12th pass or graduate (preferred)
- Prior experience in a clinic, hospital, or pharmacy is an advantage
- Basic computer knowledge (MS Office, billing software)
- Good communication skills in English, Hindi, and Gujarati
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Polite, patient-friendly attitude
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
