Job Overview:
We are looking for a results-driven SEO Specialist with strong expertise in Google My Business (GMB) optimization and website SEO. The primary focus of this role will be to improve local search visibility, drive quality leads, and optimize our online presence for maximum performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Optimize and manage Google My Business (GMB) profiles for better local rankings
- Implement local SEO strategies to improve visibility in Google Maps and local search results
- Perform keyword research focused on local and service-based intent
- Optimize website content, meta tags, and on-page SEO elements
- Build and manage local citations and directory listings
- Monitor and respond to GMB reviews and customer engagement
- Track, analyze, and report SEO performance using tools like Google Analytics & Search Console
- Conduct competitor analysis and identify growth opportunities
- Ensure website technical SEO health (speed, mobile optimization, indexing, etc.)
Requirements:
- Proven experience in Local SEO & GMB optimization
- Strong understanding of Google ranking factors and local search algorithms
- Experience with SEO tools (Ahrefs, SEMrush, Google Analytics, Search Console, etc.)
- Knowledge of on-page, off-page, and technical SEO
- Ability to generate and implement data-driven strategies
- Good communication and reporting skills
- Experience handling multiple projects/clients is a plus
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working with agencies or multiple business listings
- Knowledge of schema markup and local structured data
- Basic understanding of website CMS (WordPress, etc.)
- Familiarity with conversion optimization strategies
