Position Overview:
We are looking for a creative, detail-oriented, and technically strong Architect to join our design team. The ideal candidate should be passionate about architecture, interiors, spatial planning, and execution, with the ability to manage projects from concept to completion.
The role involves design development, client coordination, site execution support, consultant coordination, and preparation of detailed drawings and presentations.
Key Responsibilities
Design & Planning
* Develop architectural concepts, layouts, and design solutions.
* Prepare schematic designs, mood boards, and presentation drawings.
* Create detailed architectural and interior working drawings.
* Develop 3D visualizations and design presentations.
* Ensure design functionality, aesthetics, and compliance with project requirements.
Project Coordination
* Coordinate with clients, consultants, vendors, and contractors.
* Attend client meetings and prepare meeting notes.
* Collaborate with structural, electrical, plumbing, and landscape consultants.
* Ensure smooth communication between design and execution teams.
Technical Documentation
* Prepare:
* Floor plans
* Elevations
* Sections
* Working drawings
* BOQs
* Material specifications
* Site details
* Ensure all drawings are updated and issued on time.
Site & Execution Support
* Conduct site visits and monitor execution quality.
* Coordinate with site teams to resolve design and technical issues.
* Verify dimensions and execution details on-site.
* Ensure work is executed as per drawings and design intent.
Project Management
* Track project timelines and deliverables.
* Maintain project documentation and drawing records.
* Assist in material selection and vendor coordination.
* Ensure projects are completed within timelines and quality standards.
Required Skills
* Strong design sensibility and spatial understanding.
* Proficiency in:
* AutoCAD
* SketchUp
* Lumion / Enscape / V-Ray
* Adobe Photoshop
* Microsoft Office
* Knowledge of construction methods and materials.
* Strong communication and presentation skills.
* Ability to multitask and manage deadlines.
* Attention to detail and problem-solving ability.
Qualifications
* Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture (B.Arch).
* 1–5 years of relevant experience in architecture/interior projects.
* Experience in residential, hospitality, or luxury projects preferred.
