- Competent in the use of electrical engineering software
- Strong understanding of electrical manufacturing processes
- Able to problem solve and troubleshoot as the need arise
- Perform detailed calculations to establish standards and specifications
- Inspect installations and observe operations to ensure compliance with design and equipment specifications and safety standards
- Use computer-assisted engineering software (AutoCAD) to perform engineering tasks
- Preparation of Bill of Materials
- Selection of Electrical components like MCB, MCCB, MPCB, Contactor, Relays
- Support manufacturing department with product development and testing
- Provide quality assurance for ongoing projects
- Keep current with the latest technical innovations in electrical engineering
- Determine current capacity of pumps (motor), fan & chiller
- Provide Electrical Motor specification & sizing as per utility requirement
- As per process/ utility requirement, proper VFD to be sized and selected
- As per ampacity of loads, power cable sizing needs to be done for all electrical loads in HVAC, system, basically pumps & fan motors
- Needs to provide protection against faulty condition
- Preparation of Operational and Maintenance Manuals
