Job Summary:
We are seeking a focused and safety-conscious Sandblaster to join our manufacturing/industrial team. You will be responsible for cleaning, smoothing, and shaping metal or other surfaces using abrasive blasting materials (e.g., sand, grit, glass beads) to meet quality standards for industrial coating or painting.
Responsibilities:
- Surface Preparation: Prepare parts, equipment, or structures by removing rust, dirt, paint, grease, and other contaminants.
- Equipment Operation: Safely set up and operate sandblasting equipment, including blast pots, nozzles, air compressors, and blast cabinets/booths.
- Quality Control: Inspect finished surfaces to ensure they meet project specifications and quality standards.
- Safety Adherence: Wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) and strictly follow OSHA safety regulations and company protocols.
- Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance on blasting equipment and keep the work area clean and organized.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of materials used and jobs completed.
Requirements & Qualifications:
- Previous experience operating sandblasting equipment or working in an industrial/manufacturing environment.
- Ability to handle high-pressure equipment.
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods, lift heavy materials (up to 50 lbs), and work in varied temperatures.
- Keen attention to detail and ability to work under minimal supervision.
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
