Purpose of Position
· To deliver highly qualified technical support for acquisition and understanding DEIF products to our customers.
· To evaluate and report product quality issues
Major Responsibilities and mandates
· Responsible for fault diagnosis, repair, and functional testing of DEIF controllers returned from the field, ensuring timely and quality repair to minimize customer downtime.
· Maintain detailed records of repair activities, failure analysis, and components replaced, and provide inputs to the quality team for recurring issue identification.
· Collaborate with R&D and Product Management for resolving complex repair cases and contributing to continuous product improvement.
· Responsible for daily support in accordance with standards for service and quality
· Responsible for meeting customer needs by specifying products in collaboration with other departments and in relation to on-site services on basic/medium level as well as commissioning of standard products
· Responsible for training and creating material in order to ensure that customers and DEIF employees have the sufficient knowledge on basic/medium level to perform in own jobs
· Responsible for service & support tasks in product releases
Working Tasks
· Daily technical support for products (Phone, emails, chatbox)
· Execute technical training for customers and DEIF employees (basic/medium) and keep training materials updated
· Test of new/existing products and write technical documentation for them (basic/medium)
· Evaluate and keep test and training equipment up-to-date
· Service visits in connection with commissioning, replacement of products and troubleshooting (basic/medium)
· Handling of quality cases (HW/SW related issues)
· Give feedback on products to Product Management
· Maturing functionality and securing quality and user-friendliness in cooperation with R&D
· Participate in cross organisational projects including PO projects
· Expected travel activities: approximately 10-40 days per year
Qualifications
· Educated as marine engineer/engineer/ electric technician/industrial electrician/electrician
· Practical experience as electrician or similar is preferred.
· Experienced IT-user as well as proficient in English in speaking and writing

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
