Job Summary: The Educator will deliver the Cambridge International Curriculum for Global Perspectives, focusing on developing students' skills in research, analysis, collaboration, and reflection. Rather than teaching a traditional textbook subject, this role acts as a facilitator, helping students explore contemporary local, national, and global issues.
- Academic Degrees: A Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Humanities, Social Sciences, International Relations, Education, English, or a related discipline.
- Teaching License: A mandatory B.Ed. degree.
- Work Experience: A minimum of 2 to 5 years of teaching experience in Global Perspectives, Social Sciences, or Humanities.
- Curriculum Familiarity: Explicit preference for educators experienced with inquiry-based, project-based, or international curricula (Cambridge/CIE/IB).
Key Responsibilities
- Curriculum Planning & Delivery: Design and execute engaging, standard-aligned lessons that promote critical thinking, query formulation, and structured argumentation on global themes.
- Research Guidance: Mentor students through independent and collaborative research projects, emphasising proper referencing, academic integrity, and ethical research protocols.
- Active Learning Facilitation: Lead dynamic classroom discussions, debates, team projects, and collaborative exercises that encourage students to explore diverse points of view.
- Cambridge Assessments: Grade and evaluate portfolios, research reports, and presentations utilizing specific Cambridge-approved rubrics and criteria.
- Student Well-being: Build an inclusive, safe learning environment following strict school protocols, including POSH, POCSO, and general child safety guidelines
