Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced Merchandising Manager to lead merchandising operations, production coordination, and client servicing across multiple accounts. This role requires strong ownership of timelines, team management, and coordination with clients, factories, vendors, and internal stakeholders to ensure smooth execution and timely delivery.
Key Responsibilities
Merchandising & Client Management
- Manage merchandising activities from order receipt to final shipment.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and ensure timely communication on approvals, production status, and deliveries.
- Review tech packs, artworks, samples, and specifications to ensure alignment with client requirements.
- Build strong client relationships and address concerns or escalations proactively.
Production & Factory Coordination
- Monitor production timelines and ensure adherence to Time & Action (T&A) calendars.
- Coordinate with factories, vendors, and sourcing teams to ensure smooth production execution.
- Track sampling, production progress, and shipment readiness.
- Identify and resolve production delays or operational challenges.
Team Leadership & Operations
- Allocate work, review deliverables, and ensure process compliance.
- Maintain trackers, reports, and project documentation accurately.
- Collaborate with Design, Production, Logistics, Quality, and Operations teams to ensure seamless execution.
Key Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Fashion, Textiles, Merchandising, Commerce, or a related field.
- Minimum 6–10 years of experience in Merchandising, Production Coordination, or Apparel Operations.
- Strong understanding of garment manufacturing, sourcing, fabrics, trims, and production processes.
- Experience managing client accounts, factory relationships, and production timelines.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and team leadership skills.
- Proficiency in Excel, Google Sheets, and PLM/ERP systems.
