Hackingly Technologies is looking for a skilled and motivated MERN Stack Developer with 1+ year of hands-on experience in backend-heavy development. We are seeking someone who is technically strong, comfortable working on real-world production code, and capable of understanding existing project architecture, debugging issues, and delivering stable, scalable solutions.
This role is ideal for developers who enjoy solving backend challenges, working with APIs, handling business logic, and taking ownership of their work. The candidate should be able to work independently, understand project flows quickly, and ensure that changes do not break existing functionality.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain backend APIs using Node.js and Express.js.
- Work with Prisma ORM for schema design, migrations, relationships, and database queries.
- Understand and work on existing codebases without affecting live functionality.
- Debug and resolve backend, frontend, and database-related issues.
- Build and improve modules such as:
- Authentication & Authorization
- Role-Based Access Control
- Admin Panels & Dashboards
- Reports & Business Workflows
- File Handling Systems
- Payment & Order Status Management
- User & Organization-Based Modules
- Collaborate with the frontend team and work on React.js modules when required.
- Write clean, reusable, maintainable, and scalable code.
- Understand business requirements and identify edge cases before implementation.
- Properly test features before marking tasks as completed.
Payment Gateway Experience (Preferred)
Candidates with practical experience in Razorpay or similar payment gateways will be preferred.
Expected understanding includes:
- Creating payment orders
- Handling payment success & failure flows
- Verifying payment signatures
- Updating payment status in the database
- Managing failed or pending transactions
- End-to-end payment flow testing
Testing Expectations
We are looking for developers with a strong testing mindset.
The candidate should:
- Verify features completely before delivery
- Debug issues across frontend, backend, database, and payment flow
- Understand request payloads, API responses, authentication tokens, permissions, and user roles
- Ensure both functionality and logic work correctly, not just UI-level completion
Good to Have Skills
- Razorpay or similar payment gateway integration experience
- File uploads using Cloudinary, AWS S3, or similar services
- Experience with ERP, SaaS, accounting software, dashboards, or admin panel-based applications
- Basic understanding of scalable backend architecture
