Qualification: Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering
Salary: ₹20,000 – ₹30,000 per month (Based on experience and interview performance)
About the Role
John Galt International is looking for a motivated Process Coordinator (Mechanical) to support our Defence Projects team. The selected candidate will work closely with the Project Engineer and assist in coordinating project activities, monitoring progress, maintaining documentation, and ensuring smooth communication between various departments.
This is an excellent opportunity for freshers or early-career mechanical engineers who want to build a career in Defence and Heavy Engineering projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Project Engineer in the execution of Defence projects.
- Coordinate with Production, QA/QC, Purchase, Stores, and Planning departments.
- Track project schedules and monitor daily work progress.
- Maintain project documentation, reports, drawings, and records.
- Follow up with internal departments to ensure timely completion of activities.
- Prepare project status reports and update management regularly.
- Coordinate material availability and production schedules.
- Maintain document control, revisions, and project files.
- Support inspection planning, testing schedules, and customer documentation.
- Participate in project review meetings and record MOM (Minutes of Meeting).
- Ensure compliance with company quality procedures and project requirements.
- Perform other coordination activities assigned by the Project Engineer or Project Manager.
Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- 2–5 years of experience in project coordination, manufacturing, fabrication, or heavy engineering.
- Good knowledge of engineering drawings and manufacturing processes.
- Basic understanding of fabrication, welding, and mechanical equipment.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Good communication, coordination, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Preferred Skills
- Knowledge of Defence, Process Equipment, Pressure Vessels, or Heavy Fabrication projects.
- Strong follow-up and documentation skills.Good English communication skills
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
