Manager – CSR Partnerships & Resource Mobilisation
Role Summary
We are seeking a dynamic, mission-driven professional to lead CSR Partnerships and Resource Mobilisation initiatives. The role will serve as the bridge between the organisation and the broader ecosystem of corporate CSR departments, government agencies, NGOs, development institutions, and international organisations. The incumbent will proactively identify, develop, and manage strategic partnerships that generate financial support, in-kind contributions, technical expertise, and collaborative programmes to advance environmental and social impact initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
1. Partnership Development & Outreach
- Identify and engage companies across Gujarat and India whose CSR priorities align with the organisation's focus areas, including water conservation, environmental sustainability, education, healthcare, and rural development.
- Build and manage a strong pipeline of corporate CSR partners for co-funding and programme collaborations.
- Develop and execute partnership strategies to establish long-term relationships with corporate, government, institutional, and non-profit stakeholders.
- Draft and negotiate MoUs, partnership agreements, and collaboration frameworks.
- Represent the organisation at CSR forums, industry conferences, networking events, government meetings, and stakeholder engagements.
2. Resource Mobilisation (Funds & In-Kind Support)
- Secure CSR grants, financial contributions, sponsorships, and in-kind resources such as machinery, equipment, vehicles, saplings, and technical expertise.
- Prepare compelling funding proposals, presentations, concept notes, and donor engagement materials.
- Track CSR opportunities under the Companies Act, 2013 (Section 135) and proactively approach eligible organisations.
- Maintain a structured donor CRM, ensuring accurate records of prospects, meetings, commitments, follow-ups, and partnership status.
3. Government & Institutional Liaison
- Build and maintain relationships with district administrations, state government departments, local authorities, and public institutions.
- Identify opportunities to align projects with government schemes and development programmes related to water conservation, agriculture, forestry, and rural development.
- Explore partnerships with international development agencies, UN organisations, bilateral agencies, and reputed NGOs.
4. Proposal Writing & Reporting
- Develop high-quality project proposals, grant applications, concept notes, Letters of Intent (LoIs), and funding documents.
- Prepare periodic impact reports demonstrating programme outcomes, utilisation of resources, and achievement of agreed milestones.
- Support organisational accreditation, certifications, and recognition through national and international platforms.
5. Programme Coordination & Stakeholder Engagement
- Coordinate with internal programme teams to ensure timely delivery of commitments made to partners.
- Facilitate donor visits, corporate site visits, stakeholder interactions, and impact showcase events.
- Maintain strong post-partnership engagement to encourage renewals, repeat funding, and long-term collaborations.
Qualifications & ExperienceEssential
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Social Work (MSW), MBA (Rural Management, Sustainability, Non-Profit Management), Environmental Studies, Public Policy, or a related discipline.
- 4–8 years of experience in CSR partnerships, fundraising, NGO programme management, institutional partnerships, or business development within the development sector.
- Demonstrated success in mobilising CSR funding and in-kind contributions.
- Strong understanding of India's CSR ecosystem, Schedule VII of the Companies Act, 2013, CSR compliance, and reporting frameworks such as GRI and BRSR.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Gujarati. Knowledge of Hindi will be an added advantage.
- Strong proposal writing, presentation, relationship management, and negotiation skills.
Preferred
- Experience working with corporate foundations, trusts, NGOs, or CSR departments.
- Existing network within CSR teams across industries such as textile, diamond, chemicals, FMCG, infrastructure, or manufacturing.
- Exposure to environmental conservation, water management, rural development, or community development programmes.
- Familiarity with CRM platforms, project management tools, and impact assessment frameworks.
- Experience engaging with district and state government authorities.

Pay: ₹800,000.00 - ₹1,200,000.00 per year
