A Commercial Sales Executive at a transformer manufacturing unit drives revenue by generating B2B leads, managing techno-commercial bids, and negotiating contracts with industrial clients, utilities, and EPC contractors. They act as the vital bridge between the client and factory engineering, overseeing order execution from inquiry to final dispatch. Key Responsibilities
1. Business Development & Lead Generation
- Proactively identify new sales opportunities across industries, utilities, and electrical contractors.
- Actively track, bid, and participate in complex electrical tenders.
- Map territories and conduct field visits to meet with electrical consultants, government boards, and private sector buyers.
2. Techno-Commercial Proposal
- Prepare detailed technical and commercial documents, cost estimates, and client quotations in close coordination with the design and production teams.
- Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules to successfully close deals.
3. Order Execution & Project Management
- Manage the order lifecycle from inquiry generation through factory loading to final dispatch.
- Coordinate seamlessly with internal departments (Planning, Production, and Logistics) to ensure customer requirements and dispatch timelines are met.
4. Client Relationship & After-Sales Support
- Maintain long-term relationships with key accounts to encourage repeat business.
- Handle customer queries and coordinate with after-sales teams for installation, commissioning, or warranty issues.
- Proactively follow up on accounts receivable and ensure timely payment collections.
Desired Qualifications & Requirements
- Education: Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field. DIPLOMA in EEE Can also be applied
- Experience: 1 to 5+ years of B2B field sales experience, specifically within the transformer, switchgear, or broader electrical equipment manufacturing sector.
- Skills Required: Strong commercial acumen, negotiation skills, and proficiency in creating techno-commercial proposals.
- Travel: Willingness to travel extensively within assigned territories for client meetings and site visits.
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
