Department: Logistics & Export Documentation
Location: Kasba, Kolkata
Reporting To: Export Manager / Merchandising Head / Director – Operations
Salary: ₹22,000 – ₹30,000 per month (Depending on experience, efficiency, and industry expertise)
Job Summary
Stichwell Exports Pvt. Ltd. is looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Logistics Executive to manage export logistics, shipment coordination, export documentation, freight arrangements, customs-related activities, and coordination with freight forwarders, CHA, shipping lines, and internal departments.
The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in export operations and logistics management, ensuring timely dispatch of shipments and smooth execution of export documentation processes.
Experience in an Export House, Manufacturing Export Unit, Leather Goods Export, or similar export-oriented industry will be preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
Export Logistics Coordination
- Coordinate export shipments from order readiness to final dispatch.
- Plan and monitor shipment schedules as per customer delivery commitments.
- Coordinate with freight forwarders, shipping lines, airlines, transporters, and CHA for smooth shipment execution.
- Ensure timely movement of goods from factory to port, airport, or warehouse.
Export Documentation
Prepare and verify export documentation including:
- Commercial Invoice
- Packing List
- Shipping Bill
- Bill of Lading (BL)
- Airway Bill (AWB)
- Certificate of Origin
- GSP and other export-related documents
- Ensure documentation accuracy and compliance with export regulations and customer requirements.
Coordination with Internal Departments
Coordinate closely with:
- Merchandising Department
- Production Department
- Quality Department
- Stores Department
- Accounts Department
- Ensure shipment readiness and smooth communication among all stakeholders.
Freight & Shipment Management
- Obtain freight quotations and compare logistics costs.
- Coordinate bookings with freight forwarders and shipping agencies.
- Monitor shipment status and update management and customers regarding dispatch schedules.
- Follow up for timely receipt of shipping documents.
Customs & Compliance
- Coordinate with Customs House Agents (CHA) regarding export clearance activities.
- Ensure compliance with DGFT, Customs, and other export regulations.
- Maintain records for audits and export compliance requirements.
Reporting & MIS
- Prepare shipment status reports and logistics MIS reports.
- Maintain records of export shipments, freight costs, dispatch schedules, and logistics performance.
- Track pending shipments and ensure timely closure of export transactions.
Required Skills
Mandatory
- Strong knowledge of export logistics and shipment procedures.
- Experience in export documentation and freight coordination.
- Knowledge of customs clearance and export compliance requirements.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Strong follow-up and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, Email Communication, and Documentation Management.
Preferred
- Experience working with Freight Forwarders, CHA, Shipping Lines, and Export Buyers.
- Knowledge of DGFT procedures and export incentive documentation.
- Familiarity with ERP systems and logistics software.
Educational Qualification
- Graduate in any discipline.
- Degree/Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Export-Import Management, or related field will be an added advantage.
Experience Required
- Minimum 3–6 years of experience in Export Logistics, Export Documentation, or International Shipping.
- Experience in Export Houses, Leather Export Industry, Manufacturing Export Units, or Merchant Export Companies preferred.

- Timely shipment dispatch and delivery coordination.
- Accuracy of export documentation.
- Reduction in shipment delays and documentation errors.
- Effective freight cost management.
- Timely customs clearance and shipment execution.
- Coordination effectiveness with internal departments and logistics partners.
- Compliance with export regulations and customer requirements.
