Job Title: Procurement Specialist

About the Role
We are looking for a Procurement Specialist with strong exposure to end-to-end procurement operations. The ideal candidate will have experience in sourcing, RFQ management, purchase order processing, supplier coordination, and procurement compliance. This role requires excellent negotiation, analytical, and communication skills, along with the ability to manage procurement activities efficiently while ensuring cost optimization, quality, and timely delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the complete procurement lifecycle from requisition to purchase order issuance and closure.
- Source, evaluate, and onboard suppliers based on quality, pricing, delivery performance, and business requirements.
- Prepare, issue, and analyse RFQs, RFPs, and RFIs as required.
- Negotiate with suppliers to achieve cost savings and favourable commercial terms.
- Create, review, and process purchase orders in line with company policies and procedures.
- Monitor order status and coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery.
- Resolve discrepancies related to pricing, invoicing, deliveries, and purchase orders.
- Maintain accurate procurement documentation and records.
- Support supplier evaluations, performance reviews, and contract compliance.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand procurement requirements and timelines.
- Ensure procurement activities comply with organizational policies and best practices.
- Generate procurement reports and analyse purchasing data to identify trends and cost-saving opportunities.
Qualification and Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Commerce, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in Procurement, Strategic Sourcing, Purchasing, or Supply Chain functions.
- Strong understanding of end-to-end procurement processes.
- Hands-on experience in RFQ management, vendor sourcing, supplier negotiations, and purchase order management.
- Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and procurement reporting.
- Experience with ERP and procurement platforms such as SAP Ariba is preferred.
- Exposure to SAP S/4HANA will be an added advantage.
- Knowledge of supplier lifecycle management and contract administration.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
Work Timings: 9:30AM to 6:30PM
Pay: ₹30,200.82 - ₹50,000.00 per month
