We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented AutoCAD Designer to join our furniture manufacturing team. The ideal candidate should have experience in designing modular furniture, preparing production drawings, and visiting customer sites to take accurate measurements. The candidate will work closely with the production, sales, and installation teams to ensure designs are practical, accurate, and meet customer requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Visit customer sites to take accurate measurements for modular furniture, kitchens, wardrobes, office workstations, and other interior products.
- Prepare detailed 2D AutoCAD drawings based on site measurements and customer requirements.
- Develop production drawings, shop drawings, and fabrication drawings for manufacturing.
- Coordinate with the production team to ensure drawings are accurate and production-ready.
- Modify designs based on customer feedback and project requirements.
- Verify dimensions and resolve any design or measurement discrepancies before production.
- Coordinate with the sales and project teams regarding design changes and project updates.
- Prepare cutting lists, material layouts, and drawing revisions as required.
- Maintain organized records of drawings, revisions, and project documentation.
- Support installation teams by providing technical drawing assistance whenever required.
- Ensure all drawings comply with company quality standards and manufacturing specifications.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Diploma / BE / B.Tech in Civil, Mechanical, Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
- Minimum 1–3 years of experience in furniture, modular kitchen, wardrobe, or interior design.
- Strong proficiency in AutoCAD (2D). Knowledge of SketchUp or other 3D software is an added advantage.
- Good understanding of furniture construction, materials, hardware, and manufacturing processes.
- Ability to read architectural and interior drawings.
- Strong measurement and analytical skills.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Willingness to travel to customer sites for measurements.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in modular furniture manufacturing.
- Knowledge of production planning and installation processes.
- Basic understanding of MS Excel and MS Office.
- Ability to manage multiple projects within deadlines.
Working Conditions
- Office-based design work with regular site visits.

- Field travel required for site measurements and project verification.
Salary
As per company standards and candidate experience.
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
