Install electrical wiring, conduits, switchboards, panels, circuit breakers, fixtures/controllers in buildings (residential/commercial/industrial)
Mount and connect motors, transformers, disconnects, starter units, lighting systems etc.
Read and interpret blueprints, single-line diagrams, wiring diagrams and technical drawings to determine layout of electrical systems
Conduct preventive maintenance: check electrical systems regularly to prevent breakdowns.
Diagnose faults, troubleshoot wiring/circuit issues, replace or repair defective components (fuses, wires, panels, etc.).
Maintain and repair existing electrical installations, ensure they remain safe and operational.
Test circuits and systems using equipment: megger, ammeter, voltmeter, test lamps etc., to verify continuity, insulation, earthing etc.
Ensure compliance with electrical codes, safety standards, building regulations and company/industry practices.
Work safely in various environments — heights, confined spaces, outdoors/indoors — with attention to personal protective equipment (PPE) and safe work practices.
- Documentation & Coordination
Maintain work logs: record details of installations, inspections, maintenance work done, parts replaced, test results etc. Expertia
Coordinate with supervisors, other trades (plumbing, HVAC, civil) to integrate electrical work in construction/maintenance schedule.
Plan and estimate materials, labour, job time for tasks; ensure correct parts/tools are used.
- Specialised / Additional Responsibilities (depending on role)
Work on HT/LT (High Tension / Low Tension) systems, DG sets, UPS, panel board wiring in industrial contexts.
Supervise or mentor junior electricians/helpers, especially on larger sites or in maintenance teams.
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
