Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Senior Medical Writer with a strong background in academic and scientific writing. The ideal candidate should be able to develop high-quality research manuscripts, review articles, and publication-ready scientific content while collaborating with researchers, clinicians, and editorial teams.
Salary: ₹25,000 – ₹30,000 per month (Based on Experience & Performance)
Key ResponsibilitiesMedical & Scientific Writing
- Write and develop research papers, review articles, manuscripts, white papers, and scientific publications.
- Convert complex scientific information into clear, accurate, and engaging content.
- Ensure all documents meet publication and journal requirements.
Literature Research
- Conduct literature reviews using databases such as PubMed, Scopus, and ResearchGate.
- Analyze scientific and clinical data for publication purposes.
- Summarize research findings effectively.
Quality & Compliance
- Ensure adherence to publication ethics and guidelines (ICMJE, COPE, etc.).
- Review content for scientific accuracy, grammar, consistency, and formatting.
- Maintain high standards of quality across all deliverables.
Collaboration & Publication Support
- Work closely with researchers, healthcare professionals, and editorial teams.
- Support manuscript submission and publication processes.
- Communicate with journals and academic institutions when required.
Mentoring & Team Support
- Guide junior medical writers on best practices.
- Share knowledge of scientific writing and publication standards.
RequirementsEducation
- Bachelor's, Master's, PharmD, M.Pharm, MSc, PhD, MBBS, BDS, or equivalent qualification in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, Medicine, Biotechnology, or related fields.
- Medical Writing certification is an added advantage.
Experience
- 2–5 years of experience in Medical Writing, Scientific Writing, or Academic Publication.
- Experience publishing in peer-reviewed journals is preferred.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of medical and scientific terminology.
- Excellent scientific writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
- Familiarity with PubMed, Scopus, and ResearchGate.
- Experience using reference management tools such as EndNote or Mendeley.
- Understanding of journal submission systems and publication processes.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
Work Schedule
- Monday to Saturday: 9:30 AM – 6:30 PM
- Second Saturday Off
- Additional hours may be required during critical project deadlines.
