Shanthiniketan School is looking for an energetic and student-friendly individual to join our Physical Education Department as an Assistant to the Physical Educator.
The role involves supporting sports activities, assisting in coaching students, helping maintain discipline during physical education sessions, and encouraging active student participation in various sports and fitness activities.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the Physical Educator during PE periods, sports practice sessions, and school events
- Support students during training sessions and help ensure their safety and well-being
- Help organize and manage sports equipment and activity areas
- Encourage teamwork, discipline, and sportsmanship among students
- Assist in coordinating inter-school and intra-school sports events
- Provide guidance and support to students during games and physical activities
- Help supervise students during practice sessions, competitions, and outdoor activities
Preferred Qualifications & Skills:
- Experience in coaching or training students in sports or physical activities
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to handle and engage with school students positively
- Energetic, responsible, and supportive in nature
- Prior experience in schools, sports academies, or coaching centres will be an added advantage
