Role Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Salesforce Developer with 4–6 years of hands-on Salesforce development experience. The ideal candidate should possess strong expertise in Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), integrations, and Salesforce platform capabilities. This role requires ownership of end-to-end development activities, solution design participation, code quality governance, and collaboration with cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities
- 4–6 years of hands-on Salesforce development experience.
- Design, develop, test, and deploy scalable Salesforce solutions using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Flows, and Lightning Experience.
- Build and maintain integrations using REST APIs, Platform Events, Change Data Capture (CDC), Bulk API 2.0, and external systems.
- Develop optimized, reusable, and maintainable Apex code while adhering to Salesforce governor limits and development best practices.
- Implement and manage asynchronous processing using Batch Apex, Queueable Apex, Future Methods, and Scheduled Apex.
- Participate in solution design discussions and provide technical recommendations aligned with Salesforce best practices.
- Conduct code reviews, enforce coding standards, and mentor junior developers.
- Troubleshoot complex technical issues and provide effective solutions.
- Create and maintain technical documentation, including design documents and deployment guides.
- Collaborate with Business Analysts, Architects, QA teams, and stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
- Utilize Git-based version control systems (GitHub, Bitbucket, etc.) for branching, pull requests, code reviews, and release management.
- Ensure high code coverage through comprehensive unit testing and maintain application performance.
Required Skills
- Strong expertise in Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), SOQL, SOSL, and Salesforce Security Model.
- Hands-on experience with Salesforce integrations and APIs.
- Strong understanding of Salesforce platform architecture and development best practices.
- Experience with CI/CD processes and deployment tools.
- Excellent debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work independently and drive technical solutions.
Good to Have
- Exposure to Salesforce Agentforce and AI-powered Salesforce capabilities.
- Experience working with AI development tools such as Copilot, Cursor, Claude, or ChatGPT.
- Basic prompt engineering skills for development acceleration, test case generation, and technical documentation.
- Experience with Salesforce Industries (Vlocity) or Experience Cloud.
- Knowledge of DevOps and release management practices.
- Experience with industry clouds like Salesforce Consumer Goods
