We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to manage day-to-day accounting operations, financial records, reconciliations, statutory compliance and management reporting. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of accounting principles, GST, TDS, Tally/ERP and MS Excel, with the ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle day-to-day accounting and maintain accurate financial records.
- Prepare and post journal entries and maintain the General Ledger.
- Manage Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR).
- Prepare and verify vendor, customer and bank reconciliations.
- Perform monthly bank and ledger reconciliation.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports.
- Prepare P&L, Balance Sheet and Cash Flow statements.
- Handle GST, TDS and other statutory compliance requirements.
- Coordinate with auditors and provide required accounting documents.
- Monitor outstanding receivables, payables and vendor payments.
- Prepare MIS and other management reports.
- Identify accounting discrepancies and take corrective action.
- Support month-end and year-end closing activities.
- Maintain proper documentation and accounting records.
- Coordinate with management, vendors, customers and internal departments.
- Ensure compliance with company accounting policies and applicable regulations.
- Supervise and guide junior accounting staff, if required.
Required Skills:
- Strong knowledge of Accounting & Finance.
- Good knowledge of GST, TDS and statutory compliance.
- Excellent knowledge of MS Excel – VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, SUMIF/SUMIFS, etc.
- Proficiency in Tally Prime / ERP accounting software.
- Strong knowledge of AP, AR and General Ledger.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
