Role Summary
Own the full HR function — hiring, payroll, compliance, employee relations, and performance — across [office/site/field] staff.
Key Responsibilities
Talent & Onboarding
- Manage end-to-end recruitment: JDs, sourcing, screening, interviews, offers
- Run structured onboarding, documentation, and induction
Payroll & Compliance
- Process monthly payroll, attendance, overtime, and reimbursements
- Ensure statutory compliance: PF, ESI, Professional Tax, Gratuity, Shops & Establishment / Factories Act, labour licences
- Maintain personnel files, contracts, and statutory registers
Performance & Development
- Run appraisal cycles, KRAs/KPIs, and increment recommendations
- Identify training needs and coordinate skill development
Employee Relations & Policy
- Draft and enforce HR policies, code of conduct, and leave rules
- Handle grievances, disciplinary action, and exit formalities
- Drive engagement, retention, and workplace safety culture alongside line managers
Reporting
- Track headcount, attrition, cost-per-hire, and manpower budgets
- Share monthly HR dashboards with management
Requirements
- MBA/PGDM in HR or equivalent
- 3-5 years in HR, with at least 2 in a managerial role
- Strong working knowledge of Indian labour law and statutory filings
- Hands-on with HRMS/payroll software and Excel
- Fluent in English and Hindi; strong written communication
- Discreet, organised, and comfortable working with blue-collar and white-collar teams
Preferred
- Experience in construction or multi-location/field workforce management
- Exposure to contract labour management and vendor compliance
Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
