Job Responsibilities:
- Perform first-off, in-process, and final inspections according to inspection plans.
- Verify dimensions using measuring instruments such as Vernier calipers, micrometers, height gauges, plug gauges, thread gauges, and CMM reports where applicable.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, GD&T symbols, control plans, and work instructions.
- Ensure products comply with customer specifications and quality standards.
- Identify, segregate, and report non-conforming products.
- Record inspection results accurately in inspection reports and quality records.
- Perform visual inspections for welding quality, surface defects, coating, labeling, and assembly.
- Conduct first-piece approval before production starts.
- Support containment activities during quality issues.
- Assist in root cause analysis and implementation of corrective and preventive actions.
- Monitor process compliance with Control Plans, SOPs, and inspection standards.
- Coordinate with production personnel to resolve quality concerns.
- Ensure calibration status of measuring equipment before use.
- Participate in internal audits and customer audits as required.
- Maintain workplace cleanliness and follow 5S and safety requirements.
