Position Title: Psychology Counselor / Student Wellbeing Counselor
Department: Student Success & Academic Support

We are seeking a compassionate and qualified Psychology Counselor to support ACCA and CMA students in their academic journey. The counselor will help students manage examination stress, anxiety, motivation challenges, academic pressure, career uncertainty, and personal issues that may affect their learning outcomes. The role focuses on improving student well-being, retention, academic performance, and overall student success through counseling, mentoring, and wellness initiatives.

Conduct one-on-one counseling sessions for students facing academic, emotional, or personal challenges.

Help students manage exam stress, anxiety, fear of failure, and performance pressure.

Provide guidance on time management, study habits, and work-life balance.

Support students experiencing low motivation, burnout, or confidence issues.

Identify students requiring specialized mental health support and refer them to appropriate professionals when necessary.

Maintain confidentiality and ethical standards in all counseling activities.

Collaborate with academic teams to identify at-risk students.

Conduct follow-up sessions with students who have repeated exam failures or attendance concerns.

Develop personalized action plans to improve student engagement and academic performance.

Support students preparing for ACCA and CMA examinations through motivational coaching and stress-management strategies.

Monitor student progress and provide regular feedback to management.

Work closely with faculty, mentors, and academic coordinators to support student wellbeing.

Provide recommendations to management regarding student support initiatives.

Maintain counseling records and session reports.

Prepare monthly wellbeing and student engagement reports.

Track counseling outcomes and student improvement metrics.

Ensure compliance with organizational policies and professional ethics.

Master's degree in psychology, Counseling Psychology, Clinical Psychology, or related field.

Additional certification in Counseling or Student Psychology is preferred.

1–2 years of experience in counseling, student support, educational institutions, or wellness programs.

Experience working with college students, professional qualification students, or young adults is preferred.
