Job Description:
We are looking for a Wire EDM Operator to set up and operate wire electrical discharge machines (EDM) to produce precision parts and components. The ideal candidate will have experience in wire EDM machining, strong attention to detail, and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate wire EDM machines to produce parts according to specifications
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work orders to determine machining requirements
- Select and install appropriate wire and electrodes based on material and job specifications
- Monitor machine operation and make adjustments as needed to ensure quality and accuracy
- Inspect finished parts to ensure they meet quality standards
- Perform routine maintenance on machines to ensure optimal performance
- Follow safety procedures and protocols to maintain a safe working environment
