We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to oversee the company's accounting operations, ensure statutory compliance, and provide accurate financial reporting. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in TDS, GST, Tally, cash flow management, and financial accounting, along with the ability to work independently and support business decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including journal entries, ledger maintenance, and account reconciliations.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and MIS reports.
- Handle GST compliance, including return filing, reconciliations, input tax credit verification, and responding to notices, if any.
- Manage TDS compliance, including deduction, deposit, return filing, and reconciliation with Form 26AS.
- Monitor and manage cash flow, prepare cash flow forecasts, and ensure optimal utilization of funds.
- Maintain accurate books of accounts using Tally ERP/TallyPrime.
- Reconcile bank accounts, vendor accounts, customer accounts, and inter-company transactions.
- Coordinate with auditors, tax consultants, banks, and statutory authorities during audits and assessments.
- Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards, taxation laws, and company policies.
- Monitor accounts payable and receivable to ensure timely payments and collections.
- Assist in budgeting, financial planning, and cost analysis.
- Support management with financial analysis and decision-making through timely and accurate reporting.
- Maintain proper documentation of financial records and statutory registers.
Required Qualifications
- CA Inter, CMA, or MBA Finance
- Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in accounting and finance.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, Income Tax, and statutory compliance.
- Hands-on experience with Tally ERP/TallyPrime.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, financial reporting, and data analysis).
- Experience in cash flow management and financial reporting.
- Strong analytical, reconciliation, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to meet deadlines and work independently.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working in manufacturing, trading, or automotive industries.
- Knowledge of budgeting, internal controls, and audit processes.
- Familiarity with ERP systems in addition to Tally is an added advantage.
Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹80,000.00 per month
