- Lead Management: Following up on inquiries from walk-ins, phone calls, and digital platforms.
- Needs Analysis: Asking the right questions to understand the customer’s lifestyle, budget, and preferences.
- Customer Retention: Maintaining a database of past clients to encourage repeat business or referrals.
## 2. Product Presentation & Demonstration
You are the resident expert on every button, safety feature, and engine spec.
- Walk-arounds: Conducting professional 360-degree vehicle presentations highlighting unique selling points (USPs).
- Test Drives: Organizing and accompanying customers on test drives while ensuring safety and pointing out performance features.
- Competitive Comparison: Knowing the "other guys" well enough to explain why your brand is the superior choice without being disparaging.
## 3. Sales Process & Documentation
Getting the "yes" is only half the battle; the paperwork keeps the lights on.
- Negotiation: Handling price objections and closing deals while maintaining dealership profitability.
- Financing & Insurance: Explaining loan options, EMI structures, and insurance packages to the customer.
- Booking to Delivery: Coordinating with the stockyard and PDI (Pre-Delivery Inspection) team to ensure the car is perfect for the "unveiling" moment.
- Reporting: Maintaining daily logs of "hot/cold" prospects and updating the CRM (Customer Relationship Management) software.
## 4. Market & Inventory Awareness
- Target Achievement: Consistently meeting monthly sales volume and value-added services (VAS) targets.
- Inventory Management: Staying updated on which colors and trims are in stock to provide accurate delivery timelines.
- Market Trends: Keeping an eye on local competitors' promotions and new model launches.
